Eligibility Criteria
Pass in the two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Board of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State, or 12th Standard or its equivalent recognised by the University.
English as one of the languages, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as the optional subject.
A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. For candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC / ST / CAT-1, the requirement is not less than 45%.
Lateral entry to the II year (III semester) is open to holders of a diploma or an equivalent qualification recognised by the University, with at least 50% marks.
Admissions are made as notified by the Government of Karnataka from time to time. The KCET code for B.Tech programs at GM University is E303.
